Ravenel Bridge |
The Ravenel Bridge, sometimes called the Cooper River Bridge, is a graceful span that provides the northern gateway to Charleston proper. Since it was built a few years ago, I have walked over it and photographed in all kinds of weather and all hours of the day and night.
From many of the great bridges around the world, one is provided a dazzling view of the city or the body of water flowing beneath it. But with the Ravenel Bridge is is sometimes difficult to take one's eyes off the bridge itself.
